Brilliant article, the only thing that MS can do to make the Xbox One any less compelling to buy than it is now would be increasing the price of Live - I'm still waiting for that announcement.

Trust me I know, I'm a PC gamer too. The great thing about Steam is all the sales, something you won't find at GameStop, at least not to the same extent. Games go on sale for 50% off and 75% off frequently after only a couple of years. It's common to find games for less than $10, ranging to even $3
(not talking about arcade games).

I have hundreds of dollars worth of games on my Steam account but I rarely buy PC games for full price on release.

Xbox One DRM and policies disadvantage our troops as well as countless other gamers.

Microsoft's response to this is "Deal with it"

Our response should be "Not buying it"

What a ridiculous comparison. Do iOS games cost over $60?

Great game! Loved the first one, and LL is a solid sequel to add to the franchise. I can't speak for the English voice actors, but the Russian audio work is excellent. As was the original, LL is a very rich and immersive experience; I'd highly recommend giving it a shot with Russian VO and English subs.

Nice to see a respectable rating for Remember Me for a change. Personally I'm quite enjoying the game so far, even though it certainly isn't perfect, and is indeed quite linear. Still, it's an interesting concept and a relatively unique setting.

I'd love to see a sequel that expands the core feature of accessing others' memories via memory remixes, especially if it's set in a more open and interactive environment.

Hopefully Capcom will...

DRM was fine for PC games when all you needed was to enter a one-time activation key and never have to deal with it again. Since then, DRM has evolved into a much more intrusive and cumbersome beast.

Every major publisher is now trying to capitalize on the DRM craze by introducing their own client software which you are forced to run to play the game. No longer can you enjoy the hassle-free experience of launching a game from the desktop without having to wait for a client to...

DRM is the worst thing that's happened to PC gaming in recent years, and bringing it to consoles is not in the best interest of gamers, no matter how hard they try to convince us otherwise.

The only trickle down effect gamers will experience is more fees for anything publishers think we'll buy into. Used games are only the first step.

Battlefield 5 announcement - you heard it here first.

Thanks for clearing that up Major, that explains everything.

Looks great so far, but I really hope there's an option to play the game with only premium cars vs premium opponents. It always bothered me how out of place the recycled last-gen cars looked racing next to the stunning detail of the premiums in GT5.

If you're running 4K you won't need AA.

Engadget says it's $3,799 (32") - it's not cheap, but it is pretty affordable compared to other 4K displays. Not to mention the beast of a PC you'll need to run games at native res on this thing.

Yesss! Would be nice to have a PC version on release opposed to a year later. Come on Rockstar, don't disappoint us!

@UnHoly_One

I for one, am not of the opinion that Sony is good and MS is bad. Despite what both companies may say on Twitter or otherwise, I believe neither one would venture into such a restrictive DRM policy alone. Neither have yet announced anything concrete, and both have attempted to appeal to the public by stating that "we hear you" and "the ability to trade in and resell games is important to us."

And as you said, they have yet to r...

EA must be stoked about all the money they'll save by printing covers in black and white.

I've supported the Xbox and Xbox 360 for as long as I can remember, but the Xbox One is not taking next-gen console gaming in the right direction.

I should have the right to sell anything I own to whomever I wish, for however much I so desire. Restricting used game sales to "authorized retailers" does not support consumer freedom. No longer will you be able to borrow a game from a friend, pass on games you no longer play to friends and family, or resell a disapp...

Realistic fish on current gen? Rockstar has really outdone themselves this time around! Here's hoping the GTA V PC release isn't too far off!

They have not announced any numbers to back up their claims. "Record-breaking" means nothing, especially when it comes to console preorders at Blockbuster.
